Open access statement

Conference Proceedings of “New Trends in Sustainable Business and Consumption” provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. We do not charge any fees for any reader to download articles for their own scholarly use.

Authors are permitted to upload and freely distribute all versions of their paper (preprint, accepted manuscript, and published paper), at any time, to any institutional server or scientific repository. Embargoes do not apply.
Authors may enter into separate contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the accepted and published paper in BASIQ conference proceedings (i.e. post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its original publication in BASIQ Conference proceedings.
Authors are allowed and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website), as it can lead to productive exchanges, greater visibility and citation of the published work. Authors retain the copyright and full publishing rights without restrictions.
Authors are required to make sure that the submitted contents of the papers do not infringe third-party copyrights.
All papers submitted to the conference must be original works and must not have been previously presented or submitted to other journals or conferences. Our conference is consistent with the principles governing the intellectual property rights, discouraging any attempt of plagiarism, regardless of its forms – involuntary, self-plagiarism, voluntary misappropriation of other people’s ideas etc. Authors must take appropriate measures to avoid any of these situations regardless of their nature and gravity.

Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author as long as they cite the source. The Conference Proceedings is licensed by Creative Commons Attribution  International CC-BY.

This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access. The licensing policy is compatible with the overwhelming majority of open access and archiving policies.
