Peer review and publication

Review process

Authors can submit their papers to the conference before the submission deadline. Once registered, papers are checked in terms of compliance with the conference topics and the format requirements. Authors receive the confirmation within 2 days from paper submission. Eligible manuscripts are submitted to double blind peer review process by the members of the conference committee and the result are communicated to authors until 30 April 2024. Authors of accepted papers have 7 days for revising (if needed) and resubmitting them in the final version.

Ethics and Malpraxis statement

All papers submitted to the conference must be original works and must not have been previously presented or submitted to other journals or conferences. Our conference is consistent with the principles governing the intellectual property rights, discouraging any attempt of plagiarism, regardless of its forms – involuntary, self-plagiarism, voluntary misappropriation of other people’s ideas etc. Authors must take appropriate measures to avoid any of these situations regardless of their nature and gravity.
The conference committee is checking all the articles with the help of a specialized anti-plagiarism software. To ensure the accuracy of the results the references, the title and authors name are excluded from this process. The conference committee reserves the right to reject any manuscripts and to refuse new submissions from authors who have committed plagiarism.

Presentation of accepted papers

Accepted papers must be presented during the conference. All the presentations will be made in English. At least one author per paper must register as conference participant in order for the paper to be included in the Conference proceedings. The conference participation fee must be paid in accordance with the information available in the Deadlines and Fees section of the conference website. The presenting author may opt for oral or poster presentation on site (attending participants), or for online presentation (non-attending participants). The conference organizers will publish the Conference Program at least 7 days before the conference on the website. Papers will be grouped into thematic sessions.

Publication of accepted papers

All accepted papers will be published in the Conference proceedings volume with ISSN 2457-483X, electronic format with ISSN-L 2457-483X.

The Conference Proceedings Volume is published by Editura ASE (the Bucharest University of Economic Studies Publishing House) as an Open Access publication. When submitting papers to the conference, authors agree to license their work under the Creative Commons Attribution License CC BY 4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/). Alternatively, authors of accepted papers may explicitly request the conference organizers not to publish their paper in the conference proceedings. In such cases, an extended abstract of the paper (maximum 2 pages) will be prepared by the authors and will be included in the conference proceedings.

The Conference Proceedings volume is submitted for indexing in Conference Proceedings Citation Index, a Web of Science™ Core Collection database, under the aegis of Amfiteatru Economic Journal. The proceedings volumes related to the 2015-2020 editions of the conference are indexed, and those related to the 2021 and 2023 editions are under evaluation.
