BASIQ International Conference

Focused on sustainable development and social responsibility, BASIQ international conferences series aims to stimulate an exchange of research results and scientists’ reflections on the impact of recent observable changes in business and consumer behavior.

Having an itinerant character, the conference facilitates direct knowledge of the preoccupations and achievements of different scientific communities, the establishment of sustainable collaborative relationships between researchers.

Each edition of the conference offers participants the opportunity to get to know more closely recent successful experiences targeting economic and social development in the region hosting the conference. Thus, with the support of Portucalense University, the 2026 edition of the conference will be hosted in Porto, recognized as the best European City for Foreign Direct Investment, and for the growth of its startup ecosystem.

General information for contributors

Contributions should be submitted as a full paper of minimum 6 and maximum 8 pages, written in English. Abstracts are not accepted. Authors must ensure that proper English is used in their manuscript. Submissions must be made via our online form.

Papers should follow the Author Guidelines and be in conformity with the Full Paper Template.  All submitted papers will be evaluated based on their quality and relevance through a double-blind peer review.

IMPORTANT:

  • A contributor may only be author or co-author of a maximum of 2 papers.
  • It is recommendable to have no more than 5 authors per paper.
  • At least one of the authors of an accepted paper must be registered as a conference participant and the paper must be presented in the conference as a condition to include it in the conference proceedings

Review process

Eligible manuscripts are submitted to double blind peer review process by the members of the Editorial Board and the result are communicated to authors

Ethics and Malpractice statement

BASIQ aligns with best practices in ensuring the integrity, transparency, and quality of the scholarly literature published in the conference proceedings

Publication of accepted papers

The Conference Proceedings volume is submitted for indexing in Conference Proceedings Citation Index, a Web of Science™ Core Collection database, under the aegis of Amfiteatru Economic Journal.

Open Access

The authors consent to their works being published in open access regime under the CC-BY 4.0 license.
